Presendent of the Center for Alternative Policies Dr. Mahmut Koçak actualized a study visit to London, between 2 and 5 July, 2010.

During the visit the leading think tanks, media institutions influential on public opinion in England was contacted. The recent improvements in Middle East, Caucasus and South Asia was discussed.

Koçak made a speech about non-governmental organizations’ effect on world politics before the visit:

“Turkey is gaining ground in its region and world with each passing day and as a result of governing politics, our voice has become more perceptible. Furthermore, it is obvious that the policy stance and the approach of Turkey has become more intriguing.

As a policy producing non-governmental organization, we are pleasant for uttering our thoughts to provide support the existent process at home and abroad.

In the comtemplation of this policy, we actualized visits to Georgia, Russia, USA, and many European country in this year to Exchange ideas. I believe the visit I am going to make to England will be beneficial as much as the visits I made previously.”
