Center of Alternative Policies participated the Academic Platform for Afghanistan as a part of the  Fourth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA IV)which had been held at Istanbul on November 02-03, 2010 and co-chaired by the Governments of the Republic of Turkey.  The meeting held in cooperation with the Boğaziçi University hosted  academicians from region countries and non-governmental organization’s member.

Martin Kobler ,UN Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, and Afghanistan Foreign Minister Zalmay Resul made the opening speech of the Conference. Opinions and suggestions about the infrastructure developments and the  manpower of Afghanistan was brought up.
