The Center for Alternative Policies is a private nonprofit organization devoted to independent research and alternative policy solutions as one of the leading progressive voices in its related area since it’is founded in 2004.

Celebrating its 7th anniversary this year, CAP analyzes current and emerging issues and produces new, alternative  ideas that matter – for the nation and the world. For policy-makers and the media, CAP scholars provide the highest quality research, policy recommendations, and analysis on the full range of public policy issues. At the same time, we closely track key events, publications, and activities at a wide range of think tanks.
